Returning into the old woodlands today & looking skyward through the trees just to enjoy the canopy of new leaves on a sunny Sunday. Also saw a pair of Buzzards & a Red Kite.
Although these woods seem away from civilization they are surrounded by roads, houses and all the infrastructure that supports our modern age.

I figured you might be Andy – but you’ve discovered a treasure trove in your backyard with your feeding stations and also exploring old and local woodsy routes. I am still sticking close to home but do miss the bigger parks, however all the rain has already flooded several of them, most are along shorelines. And they predict ticks will be bad, as will mosquitoes as we had such a mild Winter. Patience is a virtue these days.
