Looks like a busy port. Do you think someone was selling those crocheted items on display? They sure were clever, especially the octopus, seagull and dolphin.
OK, I wondered about that – maybe they were doing needlework while in lockdown. We have many people who are seamstresses making masks, especially during the early days of the pandemic, especially people who sew costumes for local theatre, or historical places where period clothing is worn (like Greenfield Village). So they have had time on their hands and sew “for the cause”.

I think they are have been put there by someone during lockdown do not think they were for sale they were very good and sale well.

I think that is correct lots of people did the same here to help make PPE I think colourful figures is someone showing support for the lifeboat.
