Andy, I’m curious as to how ancient people discovered what fungi were edible or poisonous. It must have been a fearful case of trial and error.

These ones do look ghostly. I always have the same question as David P. especially seeing just how many different ones there are in the woods at the moment.

and some good to eat and deadly look almost the same. You only get it wrong once.

Theses don’t look like fungi! I wouldn’t take a chance and try eating any of it…your comment is right: “you only get it wrong once.” lol.
